I need to remove my whole dash to replace some wiring that the dumb previous owner tried to repair in my VW camper. How do I pull out my JVC head unit? Thanks
JVC KD-SX990

you need jvc keys if you know anybody in the business they should have a pair or kenwood keys will work to. all the keys are are thin peices of metal that slide along each side of the radio in between the radio and the cage that holds it in the dash.also if you have an old vw like 70s you should be able to get to the radio from the under the dash if you can then you can just use a flat head screwdriver or pick tool to release the tabs on the sides of the cage and pull out the radio.
