It depends upon what your going to put it into as per space.

If it were me I would go with the 10's.  They will be a little tighter base with more response then the 12's.  The 10's will sound great with just about any music you might want to listen to.  But if you like to boom then go with the 12's.

I don't know much about those gerble amps, I mean JBL.  And I have had a whole bunch of the MTX Thunders come to my shop with problems.  But of corse I don't sell either of these brands.  I bet 9 times out of 10, when a costomer comes in with a system run by an MTX amp and I replace it with a comperable Rockford Fosgate amp, the Fosgate just kicked the MTX's ass.

I would go with the 10's if you have a car you are putting the subs in. Expecially if you want "klean" sound. :)

there goin in to a 2001 nissan xterra.

so i just can figure out what size to gett. i want the m to hit hard with that big boom but i also want it ver y clean sounding and when i have it loud i still want to have a little xtra to give before it craps out.

as far as amps ill go with a fosgate  no problem at all/ which do you recomend. also do they draw alot of power i dont want to kill my altenator eventhough im gonna use 2 caps

thanks let me know

Go with the 10" speakers. two of them would probably do ya.

As for the Amp.  Go with whatever you feel.  I alwas go the the competition ready line and with more power than I will ever use or even want to use.

If your looking for SQ then defiantly go with the 10’s As far as the amp goes I would look at the Audiobahn A12001D it’s a very strong amp and puts out 1200 watts rms X 1 channel  @ 1 ohm which would go good with 2 4ohm L7’s  wired into a 1 ohm load which are 600 watts rms each.
