anybody knwo the msrp on the ta92001? Also, which would have  a higher spl... 2 9500's or 4 8000's running off the the above amp? I already have 2 8000's, and they are pretty cheap now since they are fairly old (im low on cash). And that amp should run them pretty nicely (single voicecoil subs  x4= 1 ohm) And i would like to pick up the amp sometime soon through my work

Thanks

Kenny

On the web site it clearly states the msrp of $1599

Don't you work at CC? Why don't you have acess to this info?

Although the 4 12's have more displacement, I think the 9500's will pull ahead in volume.

Tired of the 8000's ? They were cheap when I worked at cc, like $75 a piece.

A word of advice to the wise, during my beginings of my car stereo obssesions I started off much like you and was a little "impatient" in my purchases (not that you are yet). I have since just about learned my lesson. So take your time with purchases, think them over and if you cannot afford what you really want, take to being patient you will be happier in the end. No audiobahn or sony!

i would never get sony, and the only reason i ever contemplated audiobahn was bc a co-worker brought it up. I could set up the 4 8000's for about $600 and then re-use the amp for the 9500s, so i'll really only be wasting the $150 for the 2 extra 8000's. I think thats what i might do for now, and then get the 9500's when I can afford them.

im going to put them in a custom made box with dimensions from bassbox pro/MTX. They will probably face up with the ports next to the hatch (i have  afriend that had that setup and hit the highest db like that). We'll have to see how it turns out

Thanks

Kenny
