hey everyone. i have a question about orion subs.  i was trying to get mtx for a customer but they have cracked down on my distributer for selling to me. ( i work at a car dealer, but occassionally does car audio) my question is my rep is trying to sell me some orion subs (500watts rms) 12" not sure of the model number. has anyone ever used these, or has a guess at what model number they are? thanks i could use your help guys . i saw that there was another post about orion products, but no real decisive answer as to the quality.

What does the subs look like? Is the cone all black and says ORION in red on the dustcap?? If so it is the P12. I have the C12s which are one step down (200rms) but I have heard the P12s and they are a pretty good sub, they go for around $200 at my local shop. They would probably sell pretty well as people seem to be impressed by the orion name even though they are not the car audio powerhouse they once were.
