I am wanting to run a McIntosh MC4000M Amp. It is a 1,000 watt amp that does 4x100, 2x300. I plan to bridge the two 300 watt channel for my one sub. I have read the charts. Do I really need to run at least 2 gauge power wire for this amp? I am also going to use a 140A circuit brake, is that enoguh?
Thanks James

You can use the 12volts cable guide @ https://www.the12volt.com/info/recwirsz.asp you should be fine with a 4 gauge cable, but if you plan on future upgrades than you might want to consider using a larger cable.

Yes you should be fine with the 4, just remember what ever size your power cable is be sure that the ground is the same or larger.
