We have an older Alpine TDM-7534 cassette head unit we've been using in one of our work trucks.  We sold the last truck it was in several months ago.  Yesterday I went to put the deck into a new to us work truck and the deck won't power up.  All that happens is a little square red LED in the upper left hand corner flashes, nothing changes on the display, a tape won't play, nothing.  Is there a security code/reset on this deck that I don't know about?  TIA

Alpine never used codes but resetting the unit would be where I'd look first. This is vintage 1996 so I'm not certain of the location of the reset button but I believe it's behind the faceplate. Should be small and red.

I can't seem to locate any red reset button on the unit, behind the faceplate or elsewhere.   Pushing the power button only turns the flashing red LED on and off at this point.
