advice on getting some boom

OK, I have a 1996 Dodge Stratus,I'm wanting to put 3 12s and a couple of amps in the trunk. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to make my car heard from arround the way....

Three twelves won't necessarily be that much louder than two in a well built box. Did you have some brands in mind or at least a budget? If I were you I would consider a ported box that uses two subs. More space economical than three subs (usually), better chance of wiriing configs, and can yield plenty of volume if done right.

How about some fifteens? Nothing* beats displacement.  *for the most part
