i have a 2003 Volkswagen Passat 1.8 turbo, monsoon stereo and it is fine but i want more bass. i would like to know how i can put a sub in the back. i know how to hoke up the power and the ground. but i dont know how to hoke the stock hu that dosent have the RCA conections that run to the amp. how am i going to hoke up the amp so it can get a signale. i want to use the stock system i gust want to put a sub in the back. i know that there is an amp that is mounted back in the trunk that came with the stock system to power the components. is there eny way i can use the input that is going into that to hoke it up sum way to an RCA cable and still have the stock speakers going kind of like a splice to get the signal to the amp. or do i have to hoke the RCA cable to the stock hu some how. how can i do this. i have no idea, i have looked around for a way to do this but no findings.
one other Q is there a remote start cable that turns on the stock amp that can i splice that to start the amp for the sub. there is also a cd changer compartment that has a hoke up but i think that is only for an auxin. please eny help would be really helpful. i am totaly stuck.
