tweeter and system tuning advice?

Alright I got my subwoofer issue worked out thanks to DYohn. Now I need some advice on tweeters, I have a Ford Escape with a Jensen VM9510 HU, Clarion EQS560, Infinity 7541A pushing 4 Infinity Kappa 682.7cf 6x8’s in the front and rear doors, a Kicker KX200.2 bridged pushing 1 Infinity 1242w 12’ sub. Now I haven’t yet got this system tuned but I feel like it needs some tweeters in the front, there is a good spot in the corners of the front windows. I have looked at a couple (on the net) and they are around the same prices, they are: MA Audio MA592 or Blaupunkt TSC50, they are both 1” tweeters, so which in your opinions would be the best? Or any other brands that won’t break the bank? Also when wiring them since they both have crossovers can I just wire from the door speakers, run the + 6x8 to + on tweeter and - to -? Now as for tuning I find this is more of a “to each his own” as far as how something sounds but my problem is really where to start, I have read about setting the HU to ¾ and then moving the gain on the amps up to distortion level then backing down and all but there are a lot of settings, on the 4 channel for example you have input level, crossover mode, crossover frequency, and bass Boost. On the Sub amp it has Input gain control, Bass boost control and crossover control. Now all this is not to mention all the settings on the EQ and the HU settings like, treble, bass and Loud on or not. Any advice from you guys is appreciated.

Thanks, for the tuning tips. Now ss for tweeters in the front, you are correct that there are tweeters included on the 6x8's but why do you say that it is a bad idea to add more to my system? The reason I feel the need to do so is because the door speakers are so low in the door I feel like there should be more "sound" coming frim in front of me, no?

That's why he suggested the upgrade to components.  The tweeter and midrange drivers in a component set come with a separate crossover, and are designed to complement each other nicely.  If you simply add any tweeters to your existing system, the tonal qualities may be completely different, and may not be a good match with your speakers.  Do as was suggested above- it's a much better better method of achieving what you want, and it keeps out much guesswork. My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
