my alternator keeps breaks when my stereo and my subs are loud with my car battery.

do i need a second battery to help prevent this as there might not be sufficient power running to my amp?

im thinking this is the case cause when my subs do hit my lights dim. any help appreciated!f

You need a high-output alternator.  A second battery will not help you.

Yep.  As DYohn said...  Get yourself an HO alternator.
That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
