I have been trying to install my sony radio in my new cobalt but nobody makes a Chime Module for the new GM LAN Data Bus.  Does anyone know of a company or someone that can help me modify my setup so I can finish the install?

Metra has what you are looking for the part # 99-3303.  Go to a Circuit City to get it.  They wont have it in stock must likey but they can order it for sure!!!!  Just tell them you need a 99-3303 kit.  Its the dash kit also the wireharness for your car.  The kit is metra's turbo2 kits its about $140 or $150 because it allow you to keep your infomation center.

Let me know if they order it for you.

Ok.  Thanx for the info but just one thing.  The kit you are referring to is a kit that fits the cobalt but has the design that some of the equinox and all of the G6's, Malibu's. that have the DIC built into that area below the radio.  Th Cobalt on the other hand has it built into the instrument cluster area.  I emailed Scosche and they have basically the same kit with a LCD display.  What I am searching for,  is a harness that doesn't require you to relocate the factory radio; an interface.  I know nobody makes this as of yet but I found some info on SS.net that you can use the metra harness:  70-2103.  It has the pins that line up the correct way.  The other harness they have is a 70-2103T that allows you to plug ur factory radio back in for service or just to check on new messages, but it doesn't have the right pin combination.  They are just reversed from top to bottom and need set in order.  If you find anything else on this let me know, thanx again

what you need is the XSVI-2103 from Metra. it's just a small interface to provide a 12v accessory wire. you don't need a chime module since the chime doesn't go through the radio.
