I cant make up my mind if i want to go with acouple of 2 way speakers in my car or to build a box for my 1 12' sub so i can get more bass in my music. I am a little limited on space in my 98 camaro and i dont want to use up all of my space in my trunk were my t-tops go.  The main problem is that i really dont know what the pros and cons are to having 2 way speakers compared to just having 1 subwoofer in my car.    Sorry if  anything is spelled wrong

Assuming you also already have an amp for your sub, generally speaker with everything else being equal, adding a sub to a system will have a greater impact on the overall sound quality then changing out a set of speakers will.
There is no such thing as free installation!

Adding a sub makes an unbelivible difference, deff'o do that first. you can swap out your factory speakes for some two ways, you dont have to put them in the trunk!
