Hello

I've got a Alpine CDA-9855 and its giving me some problems when i try to eject a cd. The cd will come about a 1/4" out of the slot and get stuck there. The deck is about 8 months old and its the only problem its ever giving me. If anyone can help that would be great.

Thanks

Sounds like you've got a couple of stripped or rounded teeth in the eject mechanism, its close to the front 2 rubber rollers then look to one side and you'll see them.

Had the same problem in my cda-9811, sent it out for warrenty work and it was a spring/washer/nut that came loose from inside the eject mechanism somewhere, but it everyonce and a while still will not eject a cd, i think it depends (if using blank cds) what brond of cd you use sometimes.
