CD changer to head unit

 Hi I am trying to install a Clarion CD changer (RDC634) manufactured in 1997 into a Clarion head unit (ARX3470) that is CD changer ready into my 1990 Ford Tempo when I plug in the cable and turn on the stereo it nothing happens am I supposed to hook up another wire or are they even compatible I don't know please help thank you

IT is compatible, If I remember correctlly on the older clarion Changer there was small switch on the side of the changer, front, side or back I don't really remember, but it has to be set to 1 since it can be set to have as many as 4 changers. May be the switch is next to the changer connector at the changer. is very small.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

I just looked over the unit very closley and I did not find any switch
