So far so good. The car is quick, responsieve, and all that. But the issue is car stereo. The car is dealer equipped with a Jensen MP8610BT headunit, and -I guess- factory installed speakers, 6,5 inches. The Jensen have allready collapsed, and I'll get a new unit, over the weekend....
As it happens, I come from Northern Europe, but I now live in the Philippines, due to ill health. (Psoriasis arthritis) Now, it's a little bit of a problem, the missus don't fancy me filling up the car with speakers and cables, all over the place. That means, I am somewhat limited by "force of nature" as to what I can install in this car.
Which is why I'd like to ask the esteemed forum about tips and suggestions, when it comes to get as much music as possible, of of the space available.
In Europe, I used Kenwood and Alpine stuff, but it is a bit different, because of the RDS (Radio Data System) The speakers was Boston Acoustics in the doors, and i n the trunk, I had a self constructed box with a volum of 100 liter, with four Seas speakers. The amp was 4x100 watts...
I can't do that now, I'm afraid. The wife says I'm too old for that, and so on...
Any suggestions and ideas will be well recieved!
