Hey guys.  I'm currently in the market for 1 or 2 good SQ subs.  I'd like for them to sound great, but still have some punch.  I'm a fan of JL subs, but dont know what everyone else thinks of em.  Can you guys give me some suggestions?

Those subs would be great, but they're a bit much for me.  I'm looking for something under $250 a piece.

For a budget SQ sub that will have lots of bass many people like the Alpine Type R.

You can get them on ebay cheaper of course, but with no warranty.
I've also heard of people running them at 1,000+ watts and using them as SPL subs. Supposedly they do quite well.

I would recommend the Eclipse aluminum cones. The only hiccup that I have at least here in Canada is a lack of a proper warranty to the paying customer.

What would be the cheapest way to power two of these?

i gottaa agree with the infinitys. they may not be "perfect" but for the price, which is in your market they sound amazing and are very versitale in a range size of sealed boxes. Mine both have 1.05 cu ft which gives a QTC of .752 and sound amazing, and get loud and looowwww too. I am giving 2 600RMS total. but i hear they can handle quite a bit more. :-/ give them a listen somewhere. I bet you will be happy. they opbviously have a large range of sizes and VC wiring options for your amp.

For the price it is at right now, this amp just can't be beat. I'm amazed they actually still have them in stock.
