Hi,

This is my first post here, I already found a lot of usefull info on this site but still have some questions as I don't have any experience on this subject

I still had some old JBL hardware in the closet and was planning on putting it in my car (again), for this I will need to create a sub box. I read the very usefull guide on creating one but there is no mentioning (or I must have missed it) about the position of the sub in the box.

Here is the link to the specs of my sub: http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/CAR/Owner%27s%20Manual/GT122,GT122D%20om.pdf

I was hoping someone could give some more info on what box would be best (recommendations in specs above), the position of the sub and the hole.

thanks in advance.

Well I'd say build the box to the specs shown.
As for box positioning, every car is different so just try out different positions and see what works the best.(lol sorry theres no other way i can think if putting it)

thanks for the reply

when looking at the specs, is there any of the types you'd prefer?

as for boxpositioning, I meant in the box, does it matter if the sub is on the left of the box, the center,... and the hole, should this be on the back or besides the sub

thx!
