Amp settings?

I was wondering if there is a way for me to know what to set me amp as. LIke the gain and Hz and everything i cant really tell a diff when i mess with it. I always wondered why everyone just turned there gain all the way up. I have a Hifonics 2006 Brutus amp.

Try giving us just a little more info on your system...Woofer models, Box Specs, Vehicle, Ect...Cant really help you configure delicate settings on your amp with only vague details...
