What is the Alpine F250 nominal voltage?

I just bought this amp today, and out of the box the amplifier has the gain settings set at "nominal" voltage, about halfway through its range, but it doesnt tell me what the voltage is.
Does this mean 2 volts? It looks like everything Alpine put out this year as far as head units has a preamp output voltage of 2 volts.
I have a 9857 that will be hooked up to it.

Right, the amp would still have to be set, but the knob points right to "nominal". Ive never seen this before.
