Hi, Any replies are greatly appreciated.

I have been out of the installing field for a while now and am putting a crimestopper cs2011 and a sound system in my 2001 dodge ram quad 1500.

Can anyone tell me the speaker sizes (regular system not infinity) and if anyone has installed a sub in this truck?

Also, back in the day my fav. speakers were stillwater seperates and a/d/s were pretty nice...can anyone reccomend smooth sounding speakers like these that are clean and can play all types of music....?

Thanks.....

Ed from NY.....

Rear is 5 1/4" and door speakers are 6 x 9's. I usually install 2 12" subs in the back seat area of the truck. I use wedge shaped boxes made of MDF and finished in either carpet or vinyl ( customer preference ). Speaker recommendations would be MB Quarts or Boston Acoustics Pro Series.

I would go MB quart all the way! No regrets from mine.
