How do I wire this to best fit my needs?

hey guys, first off thanks for reading my thread, i'll try to make it short and sweet... i have 3 10" audiobahn asv 4 ohm stable subs ( http://www.mimousa.com/home.asp?dir=products&prod=1261 ) ^ for specs... and 2 profile amplifiers specs here --> ( http://.../prfap1200.html ) and last but not least this 5 farad power acoustic cap... ( http://.../pakpcnc-3f.html ) ORIGINALLY i ran 8 ga. wire from the batt to one profile amplifier with speaker wire + and - (mono i suppose?) connecting the subs to the amp and it sounded great (not sure if they were wired in series, parallel, series-parallel, or independent or what, lol, but since my subs can handle more power i purchased a cap and another profile amp to fit my needs... well the cap isn't meant for a dual amplifier system, so i ran 4 ga. to it from a distribution block which received 1/0 from the battery and ran another 4 ga. wire straight to the other amp (the one without the cap)... i then tried wiring in series, and in parallel, but my subs didn't produce as much bass as they had before with one amp and 8 ga. from the battery!!! what gives? i know it's retarded to hook 3 subs up to 2 amps (or impossible? i think 2 subs were bridged to one amp and the other was mono or something?) ugh, anyway, sorry to drag on, but where do i go from here? what is the proper wiring setup given my equipment? thanks a ton guys!!!

You will not be able to use those two amps to power all three of the subs. And because it is a bandpass enclosure, you will not be able to use those two amps to power two of them either. Also, because it is a bandpass, I would not recommend even buying a third amp, and trying to run one to each woofer, as if the gains are not all matched the woofer with the lowest gain setting will eventually be ripped to shreds. You need a GOOD two channel amp, rated 1 ohm per channel, wire one voice coil from each woofer in parallel, for a 1.33 ohm load, and run the OTHER voice coils in the same parallel configuration, to each channel of that amplifier. That's all you got. End of story. With the amps you have, and the woofers you have, in the enclosure they are in, there is no safe way to use all of the gear. Oh, and ditch the cap... If you aren't properly powered under the hood, you are gaining NOTHING with the installation of that.It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice.
