Subwoofer Enclosure Question

yeah i realize that, but I meant that I turned the sub around so it is firing into the box itself. Does it make a difference. It is a sealed box.

It's called inverting your sub. And no it should sound the same. but if you inverted the sub and left the Power connections + wire to + terminal and - to - then the sub will be out of phase which will make a difference is the way it sounds. If you like the way it sounds then leave it like that. But if you want it to be in correct phase (the way it was before) connect the - speaker wire to the + terminal and the + speaker wire to the- terminal. By reversing the phase when it is inverted it should sound no different then it did before. One more thing that some times happens when a sub is inverted is you will get noise off the vent on the back of the sub but if you can’t hear it then it then its probably not making noise.
