I am attempting to install an amp/speakers that will work with an ipod on my bike. I want to wire a lighted toggle switch into this, to allow the use of radio without headlights/keyed electronics. I have a GC Elec. lighted switch (part No. 35-092), that has 3 connectors on it. None are labeled with + or -. I know one needs to go to battery +, one ground, and one to amp. Where should each connection be made on the switch?

Do you have an Ohm meter?    Check for a direct short between 2 pins of the switch.  If you do not have a Direct short,  less than 10 ohms flip the switch the other way.  And check it again.  When you find the 2 connections that are shorted with the switch in one position and not shorted when it is flipped the other way, these are the connections that will have power on them.  One of these terminals will go to power and the other will go to the amp.   The other one will be ground.  If the light stays on all the time reverse the power and amp connections.
