autopage rf 315

I bought an Autopage RF-315 to install in my 99 Pontiac Firebird. I didn't know that they didn't have much in the way of instructions in the manual or that you had to be a dealer in order to get customer service, so I have a few questions and hope someone can help me out. There isn't a dealer in my area that I can ask.

First, does the main module and/or second stage shock sensor have to be mouned down flat or can they be placed verticaly? Book doesn't mention anything. I am taking out a Clifford Arrow 2 that went bad and it was vertical is the reason I ask.

Second, I am confused about relays. Are they necessary? I was going to try and hook it up so that one hit on the unlock button opens the driver door and two hits opens the passenger. I read the relays quide, but don't really know what type of door lock system mine is.

Third and hopefully last. I have the passlock system in my car (chip in the key). Should I even mess with the starter interupt if I have this? what are the pros and cons?

I just installed a Autopage rs727.  I'm not a dealer and did recieve some assistance from thier technical support line. They did email me information such as the vehicle data sheet and lock/unlock and parking light diagrams.

I had to use relays on both my one wire lock/unlock circuit and also on my driving light circuit.  Some rs have relays built in ans others do not.
