I was installing a remote in this car, checked the resistor needed to bypass the Passlock system. What I did was accidently started the car with one of the passlock wires cut, now the car will not start. It will not even turn over. All the dash lites come on , but will not turn over at all. How do I reset the on board computer so it will turn over. Thanks in advance

Reconnect the wire that was cut, and if it still won't start, leave the key in the Run position for 10 minutes, until the security light stops flashing.
Also, regardless of the dash lights coming on, check the RED / white at the keyswitch to make sure it still has constant power. It's very easy to blow the 2-amp fuse.

i know on a lot of the older style passlocks, if you get the wrong resistance, you need to just let the car sit for 10 to 15 minutes without touching anything. This will reset the key.... then just make sure everything is back together or you will have to wait another 10-15 minutes.
