I did an install today at work using an XK07 with the PKN3 firmware for a 2008 Nissan Sentra. It seemed to program fine like in the directions but it did not override the transponder. I hooked it up at the OBDII connector and at the cluster. Neither locations worked. I think that there must be a change between the 2007 and 2008. Has anyone had any experience yet with this?
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

was the problem a no crank issue? if you you have to wire a relay up under the hood.

Yeah there was no crank on starter but if I put key in ignition it would work fine. I am going to check if there was a change in firmware and if I don't get the XK07 to work I will need to wrap a key to hide under the dash.

I got into work this morning and my boss informed me he flashed the module and to "try again" to program it to the car. I had very little faith since it didn't work yesterday. I plugged it back in and reset it. Turned the ignition on and the module did what it did with the LED flashing then went off to indicate it was programmed. I pushed remote to start and gosh darn it, it freakin started!!! I wish that my bosses dad would have done what he was supposed to by flashing the module. All he said was the parts were on his desk and it was a 2008 Nissan.
