Can I hook up the module 12v to the battery and ground the other required wires to bench test this unit? I have to figure out if its fried...
Is it as simple as putting the module 12v on the positive battery terminal and the ground on the negative? That should produce an LED blink right?

If you are looking to just test if the unit responds then you could just hook up the constant and ground inputs, as well as the antenna and the LED to see if it blinks when you press arm and stops blinking when you press disarm. To do a test that would be a little more thorough you would need to hook up a siren, something to simulate the parking lights, and use the positive and negative from your battery to test the instant trigger inputs.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
