I had a Viper 571XV remote car starter and keyless entry unit installed at CC on my 2004 Pontiac GP.
I am looking for some help as it only unlocks my driver door. The installer said that is part of my security system which I think is partially true b/c I normally have to hit the button twice to get all the doors to unlock. I think he did not want to spend the time to track down the wires that go to each door.
I am kind of a noob....but I do have some experience and I have no qualms about ripping my car apart (already done). I have been reading other posts and believe I found the wires that go to each door at the BCM. The wiring guide states I have to diode isolate each wire (this I don't know how to do....can I just splice into each one so I can unlock all doors at once, probably not - they are all (-), but will there be enough power)....what is the proper way as I am sure there is a way around.
Another note....I get an error to service my security system after remote start....The directtech thin noted some fax document which I do not have access to. I am hooking up the aux to my trunk at the moment so the sooner the help the better, maybe I wont have to take it apart again :~)

The installer at CC is slacking...what it sounds like to me is that he connected the factory alarm disarm wire from the 571XV but didn't connect anything to the actual unlock switch wire.
I would suggest that you take it back and tell him to do the job right...if the blue 2nd unlock output from the 571 is connected to the ORANGE / black (-) unlock wire on the car, you'll have priority unlocking just like the factory remote does.
Also, tell them that since they half-assed it they should connect your trunk release for free, and fix the "service theft system" message. I can explain how you could do it yourself, but you'll void CC's warranty on the install if you alter their work in any way.

Sorry for the delay, but I have an update.
I took my car back to CC, and the guy thought he fixed the Service Theft System light. I used it a couple times over the past couple days, and it came back on. The tech told me that it had to do with the transponder and the car not liking that it actually had two keys in the system. He put a diode in the system, but I am not sure where. I have lost confidence and was hoping that someone could give me a little help here.
The tech also insisted that the there is no way to get the unlock button to work on all doors.
In the end I would like to get rid of the theft system error and unlock all doors at the same time. I looked at his wiring job and it seems that the unlock is soldered into the ORANGE / Black wire at the door hinge like the wiring guide would suggest? Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

The STS light is most definitely a pain in the ass on that car. I ended up telling my customer how to reset it himself and it hasn't come back since. I ended up interrupting the ground wire to the bypass so that it wouldn't work with a key in the ignition, among other things.
To reset it, cycle the ignition on and off at least 8 times with the key.
As far as the ORANGE / black...that should unlock all doors if it's the wire from the doorlock switch, assuming your switch works properly. Note that there might be multiple ORANGE / black wires in that wiring harness, not all of which are "unlock".
To verify it's the correct wire, meter it while pressing the doorlock switch. Red probe of your meter should go to a source of 12 volts constant, black probe to the ORANGE / black wire. The meter should show 12 volts with the switch pressed and nothing otherwise.
I would cut them some slack on the STS wire...however CC should be willing to get the keyless working properly. There's no reason your doors won't all unlock if it's wired right.
