Hey i just installed a viper alarm in my car with a remote start.
Everything was working fine for the first few times.
Id notice every once in a while when my keys were inserted the gauges would run a test, spin up and then back down.
Before the alarm they never did this...
Well this time they went up and the speedo kept going and then maxed out at 120. All the other gauges went down but the speed is stuck at 120.
I pulled the battery, pulled fuses, started the car. Everything works but the speedo. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Seen this on a a couple of Fords after disconecting the inst. panel, hate to say this but you appeared to have done the obvious fixes, I think its a dealer visit or find a friend with the diagnostic gear for that vehicle.
