Just a little info, for those of you who haven't already figured this out. If your using an Autostart,PolarStart
(or any of the other names their products go by), Pkg5
bypass with a relay for a second ignition, you should diode isolate the relay's out when running wire,if you don't it's keeps a ground going to the pkg5's and the bypass will continue to send to the data wire and kill the battery. Hopes this helps anybody who didn't already know this.....

I'll check the version number tomorrow(if I can remember)
Autostart's is a small black box approx, 1.5" by 2.5" with a detachable harness...the trilogix site doesn't show a picture so I'm not sure if they're the same...

did it come with a harness that has two connectors? One of them that you cut off? That is how the trilogix ones come.

Finally remembered today to check the version, it's the autostart model AS-pkg5, Data start, version 06.06, patent #2291306, and services 98-02 Park Ave, 00-02 Lesabre, Venture, Silhouette, Bonneville, Montana, 01-02 Aurora, Aztek, and the 02 Rendezvous, like I said it's by autostart but is distributed through a half dozen or so distributers, ie. Polarstart, Commandstart, Ultrastart and a couple others I can't remember....Chris

That sheet looks pretty much identical to the one for the 06.06, except the vehicle list us updated, That's the one to watch out for if you have to use a relay, won't show symptoms right away, the Venture I did was in November, and didn't show any signs of trouble until January, then one of my other branches had five come back in a matter of two weeks, we dioded the relay's out when running and haven't seen them since...
