ok no ones been able to help me with this.

the remote start. i have a as-tbm audiovox bypass module. remote start works when key is in the ignition. but it just cranks away when the key is not in. im sure theres some wire not hooked up right.

also the pink black and yellow black door triggers. whats the trick to hooking these up? i tried diode isolating them but it wasnt working. maybe ill jsut hook them up to the dome light? but the dome light lights up when i unlock the doors.

Is there a letter C in that part number? Is it an AS-TCBM?
If so,
1. Do you have one of your keys installed inside it?
2. Can you feel it click on when you hit the remote start?
3. Is the ring nice and tight around the ignition switch? Fords are very sensitive to placement.
Turn the ignition to Run, then insert a long, thin tool into one of the empty holes in the underside of the steering column cover. That'll allow you to slide the entire ignition switch out.
Then, you can unscrew the rest of the cover, and put the ring from the AS-TCBM nice and tight on the front face of the black part of the ignition switch.
The ring you have is too large as is. Use a piece of tape, or a small zip tie, to shorten the ring to the right size.
Not sure about the door trigger. I think maybe you can just use the domelight wire in that truck, but you might need a relay as well........hopefully someone else who knows will come along.

Or, if it actually is an AS-TBM, which is made just for Fords, have you programmed it to the truck already, using two good existing keys?

two good keys? it says to put one key in the igniiton. turn it to on for 2 seconds. turn it back off then remote start it. it doesnt say anything about two keys. um yea its teh as-tbm it jsut had the little probe with the pellet inside. its not even big enough for a key to fit in. and im not sure if its hooked up right. theres a red and black wire and its connected to the red and black wire coming out of the alarm labed bypass port.
