there is no pats connecter under the cylinder. There is only a keysence wire black w/pink wrapped around ignition. The van manual says it has a securelock system and it has a functioning lickt on dashboard with a paddlelock over a engine icon. I am trying to hook up the xko4  bypass and there are no visible pats wires. There is one connecter at the base of the column with two very thin wires wrapped in black vinyl sleeve . they both appear to be black and it runs up inside of the column to the top. Is this transponder 3 based and why is there nothing besides keysence wire on cylinder. How do I hook up the xko4? where are pats wires on 2008 e series van -- posted image.

Try going here

look up any 2008 Ford and check the FLTB-FM install guide for it. It will show you the 4 diifferent plugs that Ford has used for Securelock. It is usually a 4 pin plug right at the cylinder....

If you have the column shroud off, you'll see the black piece around the key cylinder...that's where the 4 wire connector should be. Chances are that 2 of the wires will be gray/orange and WHITE/ lt. green.

thanks c wallace I hooked the tack wire to the negative side of a fuel injector and it started with the viper so there was no pats on the 08 e series 150 even though it has a secure lock light on the dash that functions. I guess they screwed my buddy.
