I bought a car that already had the clifford matrix RS 2.1 installed but the previous owner lost the remotes for it. I ordered the DEI replacement remote #904100 and cannot figure out how to program/sync it with the alarm. The instrucitons say to use the plainview valet switch but the only thing on this car is a simple one button valet switch. If anybody has any idea how to program new remotes to this alarm any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your remote is correct so enter car turn on ignition and with door open, press the valet button once, release then press and hold, should hear a siren chirp. Press the lock button on the new remote, should hear another chirp, job done. Tip:- if this fails make sure your door contact wire, assuming green is properly grounded during this procedure, assuming you might have told us what vehicle you have, if you have a pos door contact it may not work.

Car is a 2004 Nissan Altima and I have gotten into the programming mode just like you mentioned and got the confirmation chirps and led light but when i push the lock button i dont get anything. I followed the instructions by leaving the door open so the dome light is on and everything. Only thing I can think im not holding the lock button long enough but it just exits the program mode because nothing happens in the time frame.

Correction it is a 2005 Nissan Altima just tried the sequence again. alarm chirps after I hold the button let go push the lock button on the new remote and get nothing. Double checked the battery and tried a new one still get nothing. The alarm is using the immobilizer so not sure on green wire being grounded or if it has positive locks. Any other suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
