I just finished in stalling a Viper 5501 remote start with a XK01 interface module in my wife's 05 Cobalt with factory alarm. My problem is this, when remote start is activated everything comes on for a second then the car begins to crank and the alarm goes off for a second. The car starts and everything works as it should, its just the alarm gets activated for a second......any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help, I appreciate it!

I dont think the DLPK does immobilizer bypass on your car, I know it says it does in the description, but you need another piece to do RF transponder overide......I think its the 556U. you have to loop an antenna over your ignition cylinder and run it to the module....or you may be able to just run the antenna loop to the DLPK. check www.bypassskits.com, select the DLPK, click Vehicles and Functions, and it will tell you what firmware is needed for your car and which operations it will cover.
