I have a 97 vw eurovan with an alpine sec 8027 alarm system installed.   I ordered two new programmable remotes.   However I am unable to locate the alarm brain box so I can open it to program the remotes.   Any advice on where the box would be located?    I followed the wire from the siren back so the box is under the dash but there are so many wires I am unable to locate it.
Thanks

Look either above the fusebox or behind the glovebox.

i have a 93 mitsubishi 3kgt with the same alpine sec 8027 module, although it only acts as keyless entry. to my knowledge there is no alarm or motion/pressure sensor on the car. i am either trying to get one hooked up or just swapping out altogether with a Ready Remote remote start/keyless entry i picked up new from a buddy. i guess what i really need is the wiring diagram for the alpine module itself and i can work from there. Thanks!
