(sorry i posted on someone elses post earlier but didnt think anybody would see it)
I installed a viper 5901 in my 08 honda accord, used a XK07 for lock unlock and trunk pop, door and hood triggers, and a pkh34 for immobilizer. First off when I arm it, it arms but sometimes tells me the door is open, or hood is open, or both. I pulled down the brain (still all connected) and out of nowhere the trunk popped open. Remind you the trunk pop is controlled by the XK07(connected by D2D cable, and the two violet wires to can high and can low) . I made great connections, solder, heat shrink, or tape on some.
The remote start wont start the 2 way remote just says REMOTE START ERROR. Does nothing at all. One time earlier today the lil remote start symbol popped up, then it said on, but the car didnt do anything. I changed the menu options from manual to automatic, option 8 (flex relay) to accessory. I've tried watching the headlights flash for diagnostics but they do not flash after i try remote starting. Checked and rechecked connections still nothing. Neutral safety on, etc.

I'm assuming the Accord is a manual transmission vehicle ?

No its an automatic, I changed it to automatic in the menu options, the 5901 comes default for manual.
