The passive arm and shock sensor are pretty much standard(included in most alarms)...! Worse case you can buy a window roll up unit...! Code...Auto-Page makes great combo units...!

You or your neighbours will very much regret passive arming unless you can dial out auto lock and window close.  Love charging fortunes for sorting out someone who's locked themselves out of their car at 3.00am.

Look at which of the above brands gives you the features you want, then find if you know someone who has one and get their input.

Ungo (I believe) is part of DEI, Code and Audiovox/Prestige sound good on spec and also Compustar and Xenesis are all worth looking at.

Also remember you generally get what you pay for.

Thanks Tommy I looked at The Link You Left What do You think of the Auto Page RS-1000 OLED .
Thanks for the input Howie
The reason I am thinking of Passive Arming is for the auto Locking and Auto Window Roll Up .
Are You advising against it.

Howie I looked at the Compustar ( RF-P2WSS)and the Zenesis ( ZN-502AS )
they both look great, but I do not know anyone that owns either brand to question on their Reliability have You any experience with either.

With passive arm, window close and lock, leave your key in the car, walk away and watch what happens a minute after you shut the door. Just have a spare key handy and please don't tell me you've "never left the key in the car".

Like Ungo Autopage is I believe part of DEI so again product similarity.

We only get DEI product here so I have no personal knowledge but having been on this site for some time I can tell you that Compustar and Auidiovx/Prestige/Code appear to be highly recommended by experienced installers. Zenesis is heading that way (it's supposedly similar to Compustar).

Thanks again Howie its relay nice of You to take the time to answer My questions.
The Zenesis looks great and with the Ztap I wouldn't have to worry about locking My key in (and I have ) But with Passive arm I cant forget to lock it (witch I have and lost valuables too ) I found the ZN-502AS for $340 shipped , and unless You Guys think its a bad move Ill probable go this route.
Just need to find a local Installer willing to Do it.

The Auto-Page 1000 is a really cool unit...The remote is extremely crisp...I have no knowledge of the pruduct howie mentioned...But if he recommended it...Im sure its good...! If you can...Find someone familiar with the product...Just easier...! Although im sure some shops would have no problem...!
