Hey guys! Before I ask my question I'll kind of give you a brief history on the problem I am having.
I have a 2004 Acura TL. Last year I had a Viper 5701 system with remote start and remote trunk release professionaly installed on my car at a store called Tweeter (currently out of business).
Out of the blue, my 2 way remote stopped working, so I started just using my 1 way remote. Then all of a sudden both remotes just stopped working. So I took it Best Buy for diagnostics (since Tweeter went under) and they told me my system is fine, and I just needed to replace the remotes.
I bought a brand new 2 way and 1 way remote. I tried reading the instructions on how to program the remotes, but the only thing I could program the remote to do was to lock and unlock the doors. I dont know how to program the "remote starter" button and I also need help with programming the remotes on opening the trunk using the "aux" button like it used to.
Can anyone tell me how to program the remotes so I can remote start the car and open the trunk again?
Thanks so much!
