How do I stop the engine light from turning on. I installed a aps 996 from prestige in a 2003 dodge ram and now the engine light is turning on. I know it has something to do with the tach wire but I can't figure out what it is! Pleas help

the one under the hood?? or the check engine light on the dash??, does it do it when you start it with the key??
Maybe you bumped a wire or connector loose when you installed the 996?

There is probably another ignition wire you need to power up.
