Hi, everyone. Well I just received my Scytek Precision Pro 500(alarm/keyless/RS)today. Well I opened the box and everything looked fine visual wise. But then when I started to plug in all the harnesses I noticed something. I noticed on one harness it only was an 8-PIN harness and in the alarm brain its designed for a 10-PIN HARNESS. So I am 2 wires short. The two wires are for the emergency brake(-) and the oil pressure switch. Im like well "ok" I dont need those 2 wires anyway. But since I have a 8 pin harness the harness wont plug in the way it suppose to. But what im going to do is just plug the harness all the way to the right side and the 2 pins that are left over on the other side are the 2 wires I mentioned above. So I was wondering if by doing that everything would still be fine as long as I connect each wire as it is lined up like the manual says? Do I make sense? Well in other words instead of going by the wire color. I would just go by the order of pins in alarm brain harness. Im pretty sure it will work because the color of the wires dont matter as long as I hook the brain pins on what they are attend to do. If anyone think other wise please let me know. I know that the best thing to do is call the company and return it back or at least make them send me the right 10 pin harness. But I dont want to go through the hassle and just thought that this would work. I can take a pic of what im talking about. Just give me ur email address and I will send it. Thnx.
