Hi,
Not surprisingly, I have a problem. I am installing a Viper 300 into my 2 door 1993 Toyota Tercel DX. I have tapped in to the red w/white stripe wire at the fuse box for my door supervision and the driver's side works fine... the passenger side does not trigger the alarm when opened.
The passenger side door pin works fine. Both the dome light and "door ajar" dash light come on when the passenger door is opened, but the wire at the fuse box appears to only apply to the driver's side.
So, my question is: what's going on? I've installed alarms in several Toyotas before and have never seen this problem. I was not able to find a second red w/white stripe wire in the same area... is there another or is something else going on?
Thanks for any help.

It sounds like you've only caught the driver's doorpin wire, as you probably suspect.

A little poking around at the fuse box should find you a wire that catches both doors.  At worst, you could always remove the instrument cluster and get it up there.
