I am about to install an Avital 4103 in a Hyundai Sonata.   I thought I would check the advertised range, and I found a few different answers...from 1500Ft (an online dealer)  to 500Ft (a local dealer).   I believe the HX Plus antenna (standard on the Avital 4103) is good for about 1000 feet, and the XR Plus antenna (Standard on the Viper 4103) about 1500 feet, but I am not certain.  Can anyone clarify the range of the Avital 4103?

its usually 1000 - 1500ft. Depends on any interference that mite come into play. to maximize range make sure the antenna cord is not bunched up at all.

Thanks guys.   I was mainly concerned about the 500 ft response from a local DEI dealer...I believe he was pushing an upsell from the Avital 4103.
