I have a 2004 Chevy Suburban in which I'm installing a Viper 5901 along with the XK09. My install is mostly complete except for the H3 harness with only the H3/1 pink hooked to the vehicle RED / white strip. My remaining power/accessory wires on vehicle are red, brown, orange and white. Does anyone know exactly which H3 harness wires to hook to the vehicle colors/wires? I also got the 508D and am wondering about an install location. Lastly, the XK09 hooks up via D2D cable only, right?  From what I understand XK09 is powered through the D2D? Thanks

h3 harness
pink        ignition 1 to Pink of ignition harness
Pink/white   ignition 2 to white of ignition harness (if not hooked up you risk transmission damage)
Orange       accessory one to Orange of ignition harness
Pink/black   not used
Violet       yellow at ignition harness Vehicle side of starter wire if you want anti-grind or starter kill(if nether are wanted don't cut start wire and hook this up)
Green        yellow at ignition harness key side of starter wire if you want anti-grind or starter kill(if nether are wanted don't cut start wire and don't hook this up)
Red, RED / white, and RED / black need to be attached to a 12v sources two red wires at the ignition harness should work good.
you will also have to add a relay to handle the second accessory brown.
pin 87 and 86 to 12v 30 amp fused
pin 87a not used
pin 30 to Brown second accessory at ignition harness
pin 85 to Relay output Orange RS accessory (-) 200mA output
The XK09 can be hardwired to
if you do not use the d2d cable you then hook up all the blue color dash wires in the manual

on a second note you will have to hard wire the door pins for the rear doors and hatch at the BCM to the trigger wires.
they are not detected through bus system.
also that RED / white you attached to i bet its a 12 volt source and not the ignition
you will want to check all wires with a digital multi meter

Thanks for the replies. So I understand to use relay on the brown vehicle wire, and control it with the H3/3 orange, but you stated above that for the H3/3 orange to go to accessory 1 orange of ignition harness?  By the way, the vehicle red and RED / white are constant power, or source. From what I gathered from your 2nd reply is the H3/1 pink needs to be on a switched circuit. As far as I remember the vehicle pink is switched power. Is this where you still want the H3/1 pink? Also, any ideas on location of 508D? Thanks again!

the wire i said is a negative output off the relay output of the Remote starter
also know as the Remote start auxiliary output in the installation manual

Thanks in advance to anyone thats familiar and can help with Viper/XK09 install in a 2004 Suburban. I have had several vehicle diagrams offered which I'm familiar with. I'm having trouble w/ conn. pin descriptions of H3. I am hoping to find help from experienced person with this particular install. Here is my pinout of H3: H3/1 Pink (+)Ignition 1 Input/Output;  H3/2 RED / White (+)Fused (30A) Ignition 2/ Flex Relay Input 87;  H3/3 Orange  (+)Accessory Output; H3/4 Violet (+)Starter Output (Car side of starter kill); H3/5 Green (+)Starter input (Key side of the starter kill wire); H3/6 Red (+)Fused (30A) Ignition 1 Input; H3/7 Pink/White (+) Ignition 2/ Flex Relay Output; H3/8 Pink/Black (+)Flex relay input 87A key side (if required) of Flex relay; H3/9 RED / Black (+)Fused (30A) Accessory/Starter Input; H3/10 NC (no connection)      My vehicle ignition harness wires are: Red, RED / White, Yellow, Pink, White, Orange, Brown.  Does anyone know this particular combo to hook to which. Please don't recommend a vehicle/or 5901 wiring diagram, I already have both. In my business, I sometimes have to help people with specific repair instructions such as tightening seq. & torque specs. Thanks again

Monty_77 is giving you the wiring guidence you are asking for.  You must use a DMM to verify the wires you are about to connect to.

Take it one wire at a time test, verify, and solder.

When all else fails, Read the Instructions

Thank you. The only relay output orange RS accessory by the H2 harness and valet program switch that I can come even close to would be H2/12 which is IN the H2 connector and is descripted as orange (-)200Ma Accessory ouput. Location of a 508D a sore subject? Thanks again. Your help is greatly appreciated. Bear with me, install mostly complete. I'll repost results
