i had an old remote starter (bulldog) laying around and decided to install it in my wife's sunfire . i bypassed the passlock using a resistor and installed the remote starter . it will start the motor but will not disinguage the starter after it starts . i have tried both tach and tachless option and this is what happens ,
tachless - starts but will not disinguage starter .
tach - will not atempt to start .
any ideas ?

OMG the manual for the remote starter has the starter wire and accessory wire mixed up , i switched them just for fun because it was obvious the starter was getting constant power and it works fine now . i looked it up on the net and even confirmed it http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/faqremotestarters1.htm
the remote starter is bulldog RS82I . sheesh .
