I just had a python 594 installed on a 2012 hyundai sonata 2.0t limited
It does have the push button.
Im not sure if im doing something wrong but the installer says that what im telling him doesnt make sense.
This morning i woke up, hit the starter and the car did not turn on. The ignition says "key not installed" I went a head and pressed the start button to shut down the lights.
When back inside to house with the key fob and alarm.
Started fine.
I tried it again after 1 hour after parking it in the garage. The car started and turn off almost immediately before i could even move close the the car.
Any suggestions ?

Sounds like the bypass isn't programmed correctly. Do you know what bypass they used?

ROCP3sD210 d-ball data bus
i remember him programming it online at idatalink.
i remember he wasnt sure if he should enable or disable the internal system or something of that sort.
im going to call him today and see if he can double check.

sorry for the muliple replies, i just found this online:
DB-ALL     DB-ALL- 401.HYUNDAI1 v1.14
Firmware Released Date: 6/1/2011
install guide: http://www.xpresskit.com/DocumentDownload.aspx?documentid=7078&productid=461&firmwareid=2192
its just odd that it randomly works. either the remote start turns all the lights on but no engine on (dash error "key not installed"
OR
the car does turn on but then turns right off.
Also if i turn off the car using the python it has a loud annoying beeep which is like the one if you leave your keys in the trunk

Not necessarily odd. The DB-All's are one of the least reliable bypasses out there. The idatalink and fortin bypasses are much more reliable. But if you paid to have it installed, bring it back and have them fix it for you. I'm almost positive its bypass related since the display is showing "key not installed". Its not seeing the immobilizer signal.
It could also be a bad status output / GWR connection. Look under the dash and see what you can see as far as the install goes. Does it look clean? Try to get a look at how the wire connections are made; do they have plastic "T-Tap" connectors or are they twisted / taped (and hopefully soldered). This will all give a decent indication on the quality of the install and the knowledge of the installer.

the dball is not the bypass to use for any hyundai. i would suggest the idatalink or the fortin evoall which i use on all hyundai/kia. bring itback and have the shop fix it.

sorry for the delay but i got pretty busy.
Finally spoke with the installer and sure enough we need to change it to the evoall
evoall for sonata
he apparently isn't sure if he will be able to program it using his programmer manually.
Not sure why were going this route but were would i find a list of programming steps " example turbo mode on, and other options that i should have enabled ?
Thanks again.
