i have a problem with my polar autostart that has a remote transmitter with 5-buttons (dunno what model it is).if i start it with the remote, the engine starts but will stall after about 5 seconds then re-start again (2x) by itself without pressing any button and eventually stalls after 5 sec. then when i try to start it with the key, it takes a while before i can start the engine.what should i do?

It sounds like a tach signal problem. Was any work done on the car recently? There is a purple wire that comes from the remote starter to the engine. It is either connected to the negative side of the ignition coil or an injector. Make sure that the wire is still connected to the source and isn't shorted to ground someplace.
