I just recieved this viper alarm/ remote start and the town i live in nobody will install these. Does anybody out there have any diagrams or detailed instructions that could help me out so i could get the ball rolling? also have the window automation add on to do. Thanks

do you have any experience with alarm/remote starters? they arent very DIY friendly especially on a vehicle such as yours.

I have never messed with them, but have been messing with subs, cd decks and re- wiring our semi trucks at work. Could this be that hard?

yes. its not so much hard as it is complicated. lots of wiring, nothing is color coded like a radio install is, and very unforgiving of mistakes. the immobilizer bypass needs to be programmed with a computer but the good thing about that is that the bypass module will take care of a lot of the convenience features like power locks for you,but it still needs to be wired to te remote starter a certain way. for a first time install you should expect the install to take at least one whole day.

I think I might give it a shot tomorrow. Don't feel like making an appointment and driving 2 hrs to spend 150 for bestbuy to do it
