Most remote starts only have neg output lock triggers so what's your problem?
What has the positive outputs?
By the way a pair of relays is the probable answer.

Well thats my problem the wiring diagram I have from this site only shows a + wire. And my alarm diagram shows it needs a - so I'm trying to determine how I can find that wire and stuff. Thanks

What wire diagram are you using? Nissans have been - door lock for quite a while. Are you sure you're not looking at the unlock / lock motor wire?

Never seen a Japanese vehicle with POS locking so what alarm is it. Come to think of it I've never seen an alarm with only POS locking.

I think the wire diagram you have is wrong. And for reference, where did you find it so I know not to use it... haha. See my post above or howie's post for the correct lock wires.
PS Howie, where did you find the unlock / lock at the BCM? Readyremote only shows using factory arm / disarm. Granted readyremote isn't the best, but it hasn't steered me wrong yet...

HERE! Vehicle wiringdoor locks, 2004 maxima -- posted image.
If you want I'll look at Directwire to confirm but Ready Remote is the same company.
Not doing this from memory because we haven't had Maximas or Camrys or bigger locally made Fords and GMs in England since about 03, killed off by Audis, BMW and Benz.
I think our OP is getting something a over t here.
Needs to tell us what alarm but I think since he's mentioned SmartStart, can we assume a DEI product?

lol. I trust you are right... not doubting that in the least. I was just wondering for future reference (since it seemed to have a little more information than readyremote).
