I already have a fortin EVO-ALL and IM looking to get the the python (ps5000) version of the viper smart start system (VSS5000)
I also own the flashlink updater to program the most recent firmware and select databus interface (fortin or D2D)for my bypass module
I have two questions
1. Should I just get a DB-ALL (friend of mine has the updater tool) and stick with all one brand, or will the fortin unit work fine using the d2d protocol they now support for DEI products. I just dont want to run into any problems and if so I can snatch up a DBALL for like 40 dollars.
2. From my research the Python version (ps5000) is just a cheaper version of the viper (vss5000) yes or no?
BTW its for 2011 Sonata Push start.
Just looking for some general input. Thank you.
