I just installed an alarm in a ford f-250 and the only things i had trouble on were the ignition cable, the color on the chart was different from the one in the car, and the window module i put the window module to go down.  It works but the driver window does not go down, does this have anything to do with the auto down feature on the car.  i know the window module wires work beacuse when i put it on the passenger window it goes down, Just the driver window.   Anyone have any ideas on whats wrong?

What year F-250 are you referring to ? Where did you grab the wires for the driver side window ? You have to grab the driver's side wires at the switch.

I recently installed an alarm in a ford f-250. everything works fine except that the driver window does not go down. the passenger window goes down fine and the wires comming from the window module work, i tested them. Could the auto down feature on the car have any affect on the window module? Anyone know whats going on here?

I know i wired it correctly because the windows go down but the dirver window does not go down.  When i put the wire i put to the driver window on the passenger window it went down so i think theres something wrong with the driver window switch.  i think it has to do with the auto down feature.  i know both wires work and the passenger window goes down when i push the button.

Good troubleshooting. What happens when you put the wire you put to the passenger window on the driver window? If when you flop them the driver window doesn't go down either way, and the passenger window always goes down, then I would say you probably have the wrong wires. You still haven't replied back with what wire (colors) you are using..Let us know and we'll let you know. Later
